These terms govern every order placed on fernflint.site, which is operated by Fern & Flint Trading Ltd.. When you place an order, you accept them. Please read them alongside the Delivery, Returns, and Privacy pages.
1. The seller

2. The goods
Fern & Flint Trading Ltd. sells zero waste and eco-friendly household goods, including reusable kitchenware, natural cleaning products, sustainable personal care items, and home accessories made from biodegradable or recycled materials. All products are intended for everyday domestic use and are not classified as medical devices, supplements, or pharmaceuticals. Product pages state what's included, the quantity, and the form. Photos are for illustration; the packaging might differ a little.
3. Ordering and contract
Your order is placed when you finish checkout. We confirm it by email, and the contract starts when we dispatch the goods. If stock runs out or we can't verify the details, we may decline the order and refund anything you've paid.
4. Prices and payment
Prices appear in GBP and include VAT where it applies. Delivery costs are visible at checkout before you pay. We accept Cash on delivery. If there's an obvious price error, we may correct it before dispatch and give you the option to confirm or cancel.
5. Delivery
Delivery options, timings, and costs are listed on the Delivery & Payment page. Once the goods are handed over, the risk is yours.
6. Product images and colours
We photograph the actual goods we ship. The colours you see depend on your screen's calibration, the browser, and the lighting in the room. A slight shade difference isn't a defect, so it doesn't qualify for a free return or compensation. Each product page lists dimensions, materials, and contents.
7. Transfer of risk
We're responsible for the goods until the courier delivers them to you or to the person you specified at the address you provided. From then on, the risk of loss or damage is on you. If there's visible transport damage, note it with the courier and tell us within 48 hours.
8. Returns and warranty
You can return goods within 30 days of delivery, as explained on the Returns page. All products are covered by the statutory warranty rights provided under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This means goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a defect arises within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund. After 30 days, we will repair or replace defective items at no cost, provided the defect is not caused by misuse or normal wear and tear.
- Customized or personalized items made to your specification.
- Perishable items such as food or botanical products with a short shelf life.
- Unsealed personal care or hygiene products for health and safety reasons.
- Items that have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery.
- Digital content or media that has been unsealed by the consumer.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Fern & Flint Trading Ltd.'s liability for any claim arising from the purchase of goods is limited to the total amount paid for the specific product in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits or data, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law. Nothing in these terms restricts liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
10. Age and use
You need to be at least 18 to place an order. Use products as described on the label; they aren't a substitute for medical advice.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If we cannot settle a dispute by talking, the competent court at the seller's registered address will hear it. This does not affect consumer rights in your country of residence.
